Volunteer with ARI

Bridging Cultures for a Better Future

At ARI we believe volunteering is a deep and meaningful way to experience a country and its people. The sense of fulfillment you’ll experience is one of the biggest rewards for our volunteers, whose work makes a visible difference in the lives of the families we work with in Maras and other communities in the Sacred Valley of Peru.

If you’re interested in volunteering for an organization that values education and wellbeing, cultural continuity, and environmental preservation, and will appreciate your contributions, then ARI is interested in you!

When you are accepted as a volunteer, you’ll be gifted the unique experience of working side by side with people who are members of one the world’s most ancient and unique cultures. Their heritage and way of being will enrich you, and in turn, your skills will help empower them to meet the challenges they face in today’s world – challenges in maintaining their economic viability and community wellbeing.

Now is the time for us to craft new ways to live collectively. Now is the time don Manuel Quispe called the big turning point – a time for a great cross-pollination, bringing our compassion, our knowledge, and our creative actions to these descendants of the Inka, and in turn receiving their priceless wisdom for the enrichment of our modern world.

Join us at ARI in this great moment, bridging cultures for a better future. Volunteer with ARI!

Volunteer Program Update

Our Volunteer Program is starting up again this summer!

We’re aiming for August 2024, and there’s no better time than now to let us know you’re interested in becoming an ARI Volunteer. We need English teachers, art teachers, people who are handy at building things or making repairs, and people who have special skills and knowledge they would like to share.

What’s your special skill or interest? What would you like to share with the children and families of Maras, Peru?

Fill out our Volunteer Form and we’ll contact you to discuss the details of the program and determine where to put your skills to work!

Donating your time and expertise to the ARI Volunteer Program is one of the best ways you can make a world of difference!
